sugar rush

Sugarlips was a brand I had heard good things from, but never had a chance to properly look around. However, the lovely people there have sent me this wonderful scribble scrabble shirt, and I don't think I could be more impressed. The colours and design are so versatile and lovely and the drop sleeves suit this recent warm weather so well.
Having literally spent an obsessive amount of time on their site, I have picked out many more things which I am adding to the wishlist, some of which are below

I always used to have an odd aversion to maxi skirts, but I think the beauty of the one above has completely turned this phobia on it's head.
*Sigh*
At least the fact it's Easter justifies the prospect of self-indulgence spending.. right?
I'll just cut down on the creme eggs instead.

a falling star fell from your heart

Ah final days of term are always blissful and lacking in true purpose. Managed to continue a game of cheat for just over two hours, at which point we finally accepted noone would ever win. Unfortunately, none of my teachers however saw Easter as an important enough holiday to bring in sweets/watch films and apparently they wouldn't 'benefit our learning in the slightest'. I'm sure a hot cross bun or two could have numbed the pain of an economics test, but there we are.
On another note, I found this wonderful website whilst reading this lovely girl's blog and was incredibly pleased to have done so. I could literally buy half the entire website, what with the t shirts being under £14, it's difficult to go wrong. I finally decided on this cosmic spot t shirt.
With the price being so reasonable, I really didn't expect the quality to be quite so good, they apparently use a method called flock printing, so it doesn't peel or flake. I highly recommend!

oracular spectacular

I feel like I'm being slightly repetitive in saying that I can't quite believe the weather. I've gone from putting on gloves to suncream in a week. I never know what to wear at times like this, with half of sixth form still in jumpers and the other in shorts and sandals. Despite enjoying the sun whilst in a foreign country, dare I say I much prefer winter dressing, with boots and jumpers and tights.. I feel like in order to fit in during summer, I need to fake tan. Which I'm not a natural at. Ah well, whilst everyone else is flashing their sunglasses, I'll be in ski goggles. Bring on December.

I also recommend a look around regal rose, they have some of the prettiest jewellery

your mind is just a loaded gun

I can't believe I actually wore sunglasses today, to actually shield my eyes from the sun. I was also unaware the hour went forward. Did other people know this or just rely on others to tell them? It seems to go around our family like a rumour resulting in me hurriedly eating my cereal to prevent me being late to my first ever shift of work.
Anyway, at least the weather's nice.

you are a fever

I really like the cut of the skater dresses and since I had a Topshop voucher to spend, I managed to escape with this for £15. The colours not particularly ~spring like~ but burgundy tends to go with just about everything so I made an exception.

On another note, apparently sixth formers are now subject to taking part in work experience and I haven't a clue where to go... If anyone cares to provide any inspiration, do let me know.

electric bloom

shirt - Primark
shorts - Levi's (eBay)

wedges - Tesco

Ah pastels are so pretty and so is the weather at the moment. It could almost be described as, mild. Anyway, moderate enough for me to venture out lacking a pair of gloves. Only a week and a bit until Easter, which will inevitably be revision filled, but a break from the wrath of sixth form all the same. Is it still acceptable to receive Easter eggs when you're technically an adult? Maybe this is a thread I shouldn't be pulling at...
Anyway, my wardrobe was desperately in need of something pastel, so I ventured out in search of some sorbet shaded delights. Being unable to decide what to choose in Zara and Topshop, I resorted to Primark to which I located this shirt in the sale section (and Primark sales are perhaps my favourite) for a rather reasonable £3.

Below is some spring inspiration to hopefully do some inspiring.

I apologise for how sporadic my posts tend to be, I always feel like I have so much spare time and I find myself looking at the clock, and an hour has drifted by without me noticing.
Anyway, just thought I should mention how in love I am with the spring pastel tones and that Zara have executed this so well.
Fortunately, I believe I may soon be employed which will give me a disposable income and can spend it on unnecessary, yet very pretty clothes.

Also, this band make the most beautiful music.

here comes a feeling you thought you'd forgotten

Someone told me I looked like I was going yachting today which was unfortunately rather far from the truth (english coursework if you're curious). The sun however, was shining which ultimately means everyone stripping off and wandering down to morrisons to get ice cream. Controversially, I do prefer winter, but today has provided a nice change from frosty noses and fingertips.

Also, go and listen to vampire weekend if you haven't already.
