someone said true love was dead

Currently on 'study leave' but pleasingly have only one exam left to study for, which I should definitely get on with. Anyway, the past few days have been so lovely, as they have been spent with a wonderful friend who happens to be a boy who unfortunately lives a bit of a distance from me. Eugh, how I wish train fares weren't so bloody expensive.

we'll set the world on fire

Ah the weather is lovely lovely lovely. Although this is about as summery as I get, I do appreciate the sun. Also just completed my penultimate exam and my final one isn't until 11th of June so my brain seems to think it's about time to switch off and make smoothie ice lollies as oppose to revising. Which for the moment isn't such a bad thing. Since I am in year 13 ~technically~, today should be my last official day so I am venturing out to be ""social"" which is completely unlike me. It's also a friend's birthday which provides a more justifiable reason and guarantees the presence of people that can tolerate me for more than five minutes :)
Cannot believe how fast sixth form has gone, although I do have the pleasure of staying another year, which I think I shall definitely benefit from.

I have also just flicked onto lookbook and there are some seriously gorgeous looks which I shall provide a sample of:

(Desperately want a pair of those glasses)

Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying the weather and has lovely weekends!

I'm losing where you end and I begin

I think had I worn this today, I would have been slightly crazed. Although I do find it slightly upsetting I can no longer layer up my shirts and jumpers (which I love to do if you weren't already aware) without getting odd looks, I do quite like the warmer weather. Just not paired with exams.
Also discovered I don't actually have many clothes suited to this climate, which is unfortunate. Also becomes the issue I have with baring my skin : I don't. I honestly think people are starting to believe the sun makes me erupt into flames (or sparkle depending on which type of vampires you're into).
*Sigh*
However, next week being a brief period of freedom, I can hopefully venture to Primark and purchase some men's t shirts to cut up which will make me feel a great deal more summery.

Anyway, I do hope everyone else is enjoying the lovely weather, preferably with a glass of something alcoholic and cold, rather than a revision guide.

I've suffered shipwrecks right from the start

jumper - random shop

Taking a little break from revision to make a half decent post for once as well as watching Tracy Beaker. Bought this jumper from a rather cheap shop in Chester for £6, not really sure if I like it but since it was £6, not a great deal to lose.

Also painted my nails again with the infamous ~*~galaxy design~*~ though they're in a pretty different condition now, having spent my Sunday washing up.

On another note I am selling some bracelets:

I have 20 to sell in either brown, navy, pink, white or green.
The string is pretty long so you could wrap it around a few times or wear it as a necklace.
They're £2.50 + £1 p&p

I'm also selling this jumper from Zara:

It's knitted and I think it's a small.

If you're interested in either of the above, drop me an email at tangledlimbs@live.co.uk :)

If you haven't already, I seriously recommend a look at the Jack Wills gallery. Though be prepared for some highly attractive people and some equally beautiful, although pricey clothes.

Anyway, I fear revision is calling me, that's all for now folks!

we are young

Another swift post today I am afraid, purchased this rather nice shirt yesterday after battling my way through the warzone that is Primark on a Saturday. My collection of mint coloured items I fear may have become too vast.. I think I may have to start eBaying in the near future to avoid looking similar to ice cream.
Today has been spent at work, which always seems to be busy although I was told customer numbers always fluctuated dependent on the weather. The May showers seemed to have deterred noone, however.

That's all for now, I hope your weekends have been as lovely as mine!

Friday, I'm in love

Ah, three exams down two to go, and I can't say how well I've done if I'm honest. I'm beyond terrible in exam conditions, with my mind suddenly blanking not registering that the entire year has been leading up to this moment. I doubt the examiners will take this into account unfortunately.
Anyway, enough about exams as I realise I have rambled on about this non stop.

Here are some of my recent favourite lookbook looks:

Incredibly swift post consisting of some pretty pictures because I am currently swamped in philosophy revision

Hope everyone's weekend shall be spent enjoying the sun rather than buried beneath books on the origins of knowledge!

Currently, revision is interspersed with short periods of 'life'. At sixth form I am literally in the study room during any free moment of time ranging from 4 minutes to 4 hours (I know).  Hence why I was today so grateful for both of my English lessons to be cancelled due to course work moderation and I was able to come home early (to do more revision inevitably, but the principle is valid.)
In other news, this collar tipped shirt was only £10.50 on eBay and you can find a link to the seller here :)

I also highly recommend a look at stylesaint.where you can collect inspirational fashion images and collage them together in a lovely online 'style book'. Highly useful whenever you need a little guidance in that direction.
That's all for now folks!

under your spell

Today has been spent at work, thankfully, as my disposable income is ever deteriorating and will probably all be gone by tomorrow thanks to overpriced train fares.Still, it's always nice to have plans, fingers crossed the weather shall spare us.

Also, just had a quick flick through 'the kooples' website. What a mistake that was.

It's honestly one of my favourite places for inspiration, I love all of the clean lines and simple colour schemes that manage to look so elegant. All of the pictures are just so wonderful too (if I could look like one of the models, life would be A+).

Eugh, but enough looking at pretty pictures, revision must unfortunately ensue, I do hope your weekends are spent doing something exciting!

Nothing too wild today as I've been revising/doing work/generally being dull but on the bright side I found this pretty scarf in the loft.

Apologies for the brief post, regular blogging shall resume asap!
