Tennis Court

shirt - Zara
necklace - H&M

Just a quick post to say I can't get enough of simple outfits with little embellishments, getting a nice balance between not-trying-too-hard, yet still looking like I've put some thought into what I'm wearing.

I really wanted to share this post from Ivania of love-aesthetics, as I think it encapsulates my feelings for minimal tones so perfectly.

I hope everyone is enjoying their "summer", and as usual, I shall finish with some summery inspiration to make up for the lack of sun in the UK at least:')

Get lucky

(01)
top - Warehouse
shorts - Primark
shoes - Dorothy Perkins
hat - Disneyland
rings - Asos

I just keep re painting my nails in this minimal shade that tends to look summery and fresh, this one was part of a french manicure set.

always relevant.

Birthdays in our house just seem to mean large quantities of food in whichever form that may take, much to my delight. I have spent the morning mainly covered in flour whilst making mini-egg cakes for my brother which I hope he appreciates!
This post exam freedom has done wonders for my sleeping patterns but has not been quite so beneficial to my paypal account. I shall be genuinely concerned to open my bank statement when it's posted through the door.
However, if your finances are looking in  slightly better condition, I recommend a look at Tobi.

Most of the items are so simple, pretty and reasonably priced, an A+ combination!
Also, ideal holiday wear, which I seriously cannot wait for, I really can't keep up with the British weather.

(Plus, foreign places give me ample opportunity to wear this hat as I doubt it would be fully appreciated wandering around an English town(n)

Through the looking glass

top - The Orphan's Arms
jeans - Primark
shoes - Dorothy Perkins

This t shirt gives a pretty good insight into my current mood.
Having completed exams and no longer needing to memorise graphs or write yet another practice essay I may as well have fallen down the rabbit hole.
(If you're still drinking copious amounts of caffeine to power through late night revision, hang in there, freedom is totally worth the wait!)

I've had a minor ~blog revamp~ which I've been meaning to do since forever, but just have literally had no time. It's a work in progress, which could technically be a phrase applied to any aspect of my life.

Anyway, I've been such a terrible blogger of late, I can't wait to get back in to regular posting and sharing the ridiculous amount of stuff I've bought and plan on buying over the course of this blissfully long summer. If anyone has any exciting plans, I'd love to hear them!

For now, some inspiration to curve my online shopping tendencies onto some vaguely sensible course..
