Hoping all of you pretty people are having a lovely festive season!
Just thought I'd share my '50 shades of Grey' outfit that kept me warm yesterday. A nice change from head to toe black anyway - it is Christmas after all!

New Years Look?

Always one to get involved in a Style Challenge, when Weddington Way contacted me to accessorise a New Years look, I could not refuse..

Renound for formal and elegant gowns and as their name suggests, Weddington Way are primarily known for wedding and bridesmaid outfits, however, who's to say you couldn't wear one of their beauties for entering the New Year?

From the new collection of bridesmaid dresses, I picked this pretty grey toned one, and have come up with two accessory options..

First, a champagne inspired look..

Then a look that's a bit more vampy..

Which one would you go for?

Also hope you're all having amazing festive seasons and Santa brings everything you want :)

Kylie Jenner Wannabe hair - c/o Flashmob

I was ridiculously excited to be given the chance to test out some Flashmob hair chalks.
Flashmob specialise is bright and bold beauty products, something I'd usually shy away from, but I've become far too comfortable in my comfort zone, so was raring to test them out!

Hair chalk is ideal for commitment phobes like myself, or those of us who wish to give colour a trial run.
Or who just want to feel like Kylie Jenner for a day or two.

How to apply
All you need to do is run the chalks over the hair, and simply build it up for a more intense colour. Then simply seal with some hair spray.
I was really pleased with the intensity of  the colour on my dark hair, but spritzing a little water on first definitely brings out the colour.

Top Tips
I would definitely put a few towels or newspaper before you start chalking yourself.
Also, I wouldn't recommend wearing white without a towel around your neck, to avoid your shoulders changing colour.
That said, it is chalk as opposed to fake tan or dye, so comes off super easily with soap.

Despite looking like a goth according to my brother, I was really pleased with the simplicity of the hair chalks and can't wait to actually use them for an evening out now it's apparently ~party season~!!
I also have the yellow and green to try so keep an eye on my instagram to be accordingly updated :)

Would you give hair chalk a try?

Thinking out loud

Some of my favourites from a test shoot I was incredibly happy to be a part of last week. Always pleasing to be able to take a break from ~uni life~ and ignore the coursework that's hanging over your head.
That said, I still have copious amounts of Christmas shopping to be done as well as birthdays to attend, including my own (completely in denial that I am turning 21 when I feel about 12).
December is likely to be a busy one, but I promise I shall intersperse the usual mince-pie-eating, elf-watching, panic-wrapping with a blog post or two.

Dressing up with Bonobos

As you can probably assume, I love dreaming up imaginary outfits (my head is full of fantasy wardrobes) so when asked to put together an outfit for the lovely guys at Bonobos, I could hardly refuse.

What with the days getting chillier and the soft sound of Santa's sleighbells being just audible as December creeps closer, I decided to opt for a Christmas inspired look to complement Bonobo's beautiful new collection of men's suits.

your heart is unobtainable

Spent this week wondering whether tucking my hair into my coat purely to block the humidity still counts as a 'faux bob'.
I guess noone ever has to know..

Have to express my fondness of this jacket I was kindly sent by StyleMoi. I was skeptical at first as  it had been crumpled on it's journey, but after a couple of days had sprung back to shape much to my delight. Major props to the lovely customer service team too. One can never have too many leather-esque jackets right?
